Clique Kits and The Cut Shoppe Team Up

I’m super super excited to be sharing two layouts I have created with September kit from Clique Kits.  If you are a usual reader of my blog you will know that I love creating with kits and this one was NO exception.  The Cut Shoppe team was super lucky to receive a FULL kit to play with.  Here are two layouts I have created:

My first layout is soft and girly – I love pinks and greens together!   I have used the Flash Cards 3×4 cut file behind my photo – cut out on white cardstock.  I have coloured in the 2 & 3 in green with my Mister Huey’s water colours because they are the ages of my two girls in the photo. I have used the Live More Think Less cut file and added these words from the actual cut onto my layout. You will also notice the ‘love’ above the white tag.  I created this word using random letters from the cut file to create the word love.  I have also added some white gesso to the little people, the heart and the triangle sequins to wash out the colours a bit to blend them more with the colours on my layout.

 My second layout features my 10 year old son with his 2 year old sister and I have used the Right on Target cut file and sewed this onto my layout.  I really wanted to keep the colour palette simple and focused on the blues in the Clique kit as I loved the way these colours worked with my photo.  The black script words in the kit were just perfect for the sentiment I wanted to create on my layout.

I had the most amazing time creating with the Clique Kit and the cut files that accompanied the kit.  I will be creating some more with this kit for my The Cut Shoppe DT reveal at the end of September.
